“Celeste walked us through the whole fall show on a Tuesday morning, just us, and never once made it feel like a sales pitch. We went home with our first real painting.”

Nadia, Mid-City

“They hung a six-foot canvas in our shotgun double in under an hour, and we paid for it over ten months. It's perfect.”

Beau, Marigny

“The Second Saturday openings are the best night out on St. Claude. Come for the art, stay for the porch.”

Is it really free to walk in?

Always. No tickets, no suggested donation, no sign-in. Come as often as you like.

Do I need an appointment?

Not during open hours, Wednesday to Sunday. Monday and Tuesday, and anything before 11am or after 6pm, just call or text and we'll open up for you.

Can I pay over time?

Yes. Any work over $1,000 can be paid over ten months, interest-free, with no credit check. The work goes home with you after the first payment.

Can I see a piece on my own wall first?

Within Orleans and Jefferson parishes, yes. We bring it over on approval for 48 hours and take it back if it isn't right.

Do you ship out of state?

Anywhere in the US, crated and insured door to door. We quote by size; most paintings run $150 to $400.

Do you look at new artists?

We do, twice a year, in January and July. Send ten images and a short note to hello@batturegallery.com. We answer everyone.
